The Index of Industrial Production (IIP) is a key macroeconomic indicator measuring changes in the physical volume of production across various industrial sectors in the economy. These figures are released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) on the 28th of every month (or the next working day if it is a holiday).
