The Ministry of Defence has signed a contract worth around Rs 770 crore with 'Bharat Electronics Limited' (BEL) for the procurement of Advanced 'Low Level Light Weight Radar' (LLLR-I) for the Indian Army. This radar system is capable of detecting and tracking small and micro drones along with fighter aircraft. This will significantly enhance the Indian Army's capability to counter threats posed by unmanned aerial systems.संरक्षण मंत्रालयाने भारतीय लष्करासाठी प्रगत 'लो लेव्हल हलक्या वजनाची रडार' (LLLR-I) खरेदी करण्यासाठी 'भारत इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स लिमिटेड' (BEL) सोबत सुमारे 770 कोटी रुपयांचा करार केला आहे. ही रडार प्रणाली लढाऊ विमानांसह छोटे व सूक्ष्म ड्रोन शोधणे आणि त्यांचा मागोवा घेण्यास सक्षम आहे. यामुळे भारतीय लष्कराची मानवरहित हवाई प्रणालींपासून निर्माण होणाऱ्या धोक्यांचा सामना करण्याची क्षमता लक्षणीयरीत्या वाढेल.
